AIA Portland’s Architecture + Design Festival kicks off on September 30th and runs a full and fun calendar of events through October. I’m most excited about two things:

1. Design Matters: A Tour of Portland Homes
Saturday, October 9th from 10am-4pm
A self-guided tour of 6 hand selected homes designed by notable Portland architects.
tandemDUO (pictured above) is one of the homes on the tour!

2. Mid-Century Modern Bus Tour
Saturday, October 23rd 
A bus trip down the Willamette Valley to visit 3 sites that ends with lunch and wine at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Gordon House.
